This painting depicts the rockholes at the site of Marrapinti, to the
west of the Pollock Hills in Western Australia. The lines through the
work are the sandhills surrounding the area. Two women of the Nangala
kinship subsection made camp at this rockhole before continuing east towards
Kiwirrkura. While at Marrapinti they made hair-string skirts which
