Documentation reads
This painting depicts the stories involved in the formation of the saltpan
country at Marua west of Lake MacKay. The painting is a ground map of
the country; each rectangle represents a saltpan. This is also an initiation
into manhood site for the young men. The round circles represent an important
water soak in the area.
